MALUJI Public Welfare Action | A Special Return Present: Visit by Amazing Grace Home, a Charity Organization in Chongqing

2025.10.23

On September 15, despite the cool autumn weather in Beijing, the MALUJI headquarters was embraced by a wave of warmth. The responsible persons of the Amazing Grace for Kids Service Center in Yuzhong District, Chongqing visited MALUJI, bringing a special present—handicrafts made by families of child patients at the Amazing Grace Home to express their sincere gratitude for MALUJI’s long-term public welfare support. Ms. Tian Jinlu, Director of MALUJI’s Retail Business, warmly received the visitors. She not only attentively listened to the heartwarming stories about the children’s creations but also engaged in in-depth discussions on the organization’s operation status and the needs of the children’s families, genuinely caring about the future development of Amazing Grace Home.

This heartwarming scene not only reflects care in return but also represents a cross-regional relay of public welfare efforts. Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, as a National Regional Medical Center for Children, admits a substantial number of patients from other cities annually. Many families of children with critical illnesses are facing accommodation difficulties while seeking medical treatment away from home. Established in 2017, Amazing Grace Home has set up six caring houses in the surrounding areas of Yuzhong Branch and Lijia Branch of the Children’s Hospital to accommodate the families of children with brain tumors in oncological surgery, hematology, and neurosurgery.

The connection between Amazing Grace Home and MALUJI began in the summer of 2023, when the former faced operational challenges due to a shortage of funds. At that time, Wang Xiaofei, founder of the MALUJI brand, personally visited the organization after being informed of its predicament and resolutely decided to contribute to the public welfare program. According to his decision, MALUJI covers the annual rent for the six caring houses set up by Amazing Grace Home to fundamentally address its operational challenge. In addition to covering rental costs, MALUJI also provides irregular food supplies, delivering food items such as Pork Backed Sausages and Shepherd’s Purse Dumplings to the child patients in the form of free meals, making them one of the most beloved meal options among the children.

“According to publicly available data from Amazing Grace Home, in the first half of 2025, six Amazing Grace Home facilities provided a total of 75 overnight stays for 291 cancer-affected families, enabling 660 family members to have safe nights’ sleep.” The above figures only represent the first half of 2025. This public welfare program, which faced severe challenges two years ago, has become a refuge for thousands of families with sick children. The transmission of love and care from Beijing to Chongqing has turned into a heartwarming chapter co-written by the enterprise and the public service organization.

During the visit, the director of the Amazing Grace program displayed handicrafts made by the children, explaining that although those presents are not costly, they carry the sincerest gratitude from the families of the child patients. The support provided by MALUJI is not only financial but also a form of moral encouragement. Let the world know that countless individuals are ready to lend a helping hand, jointly safeguarding these children and their families.

The power of public welfare can be as tangible as a peaceful sleep at night, a warm meal, or ongoing companionship, each capable of bringing hope to people’s lives. MALUJI believes that public welfare is a long-term commitment, not merely a topic of temporary popularity. We also hope to take concrete actions to call on more enterprises and social forces to care for groups of children with critical illnesses, and jointly light up the path forward for their families.

MALUJI’s public welfare actions are ongoing.
